DEAR FRIENDS OF SPEED THE LIGHT:

The official 2008-09 theme for Speed the Light is "EXTRAORDINARY." We believe God is raising up an army of ordinary students who will do extraordinary things for His kingdom. Please join with us as we pursue our responsibility to provide our missionaries with the “essential transportation and creative communication” they need for effective evangelism. Set aside a special service to feature the ministry of Speed the Light and highlight those who are giving their lives to serve in mission fields here and abroad. Challenge your congregation to partner with the youth in your church to give so that our missionaries can be equipped to take the gospel to the “ends of the earth.”

STL Day is officially the 3rd Sunday of October, but you can choose any day for your missions service. The following resources are available to help you plan a significant and successful Speed the Light service. This is not a complete service plan, but components you may find helpful. May God bless you and your church as you give sacrificially.
